How to Use the Platform

This simple guide explains how to search for a student record, pay for credits and download a certificate. You do not need technical knowledge to use the portal.

Before you begin

You cannot register yourself. A platform administrator must create your account. You will normally receive an email link to choose your password. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder and contact your administrator.

1

Open the Login page and enter the email address registered by your administrator and your password. Use Forgot password if you cannot remember it. Never share your password with another person.

2

Check the Dashboard

The Dashboard shows your company's credit balance, recent searches, wallet transactions, activities and pending invoices. People using the same company email domain normally share the wallet and can see company-level history, so the balance may also be used by an authorised colleague.

3

Add credits when needed

Select Top Up. You can pay online through Paystack for an instant top-up or generate an invoice for manual payment. An invoice does not add credits immediately; an authorised administrator must approve it first. Always check the price shown on the page before paying.

4

Start a student search

Select Search and enter:

  • the student's surname;
  • the student's first name; and
  • the correct institution selected from the list.

You can also add an other name, course, qualification and session/year. Add as much correct information as you have; it helps the portal find the right person and avoid several possible matches.

5

Understand the result

One match

One credit is deducted. You can open the student record and generate a certificate.

Several possibilities

No credit is deducted. Add more details and search again.

No result

No credit is deducted. Check the details or ask the support team to investigate.

A “No Result” message does not prove that the student never attended the institution or that a document is false. It only means the search did not return a matching record for the information entered.

6

Review the student details

When one match is found, open the record and carefully compare the name, institution, qualification, course, session and grade (where available) with the person you are checking. Do not generate a certificate if you are unsure that the record belongs to the correct person.

7

Generate and download the certificate

Select Generate Verification Certificate, then download the Standard Certificate. A company-branded option is available only when an administrator has uploaded the company logo and enabled a custom certificate design. Certificates are normally valid for 365 days from the original search date; check the date shown because the configured period can change.

8

When no record is found

Complete the investigation request with the student's full name, qualification, course, institution and session. You will receive a portal notification and an email when an administrator marks the request Found or Not Found. When submitting a record request, one credit is reserved: it is used if the record is confirmed and refunded if it is not found. If a Not Found Certificate becomes available, download it promptly because no-result search records are normally cleaned after five days.

9

Share a certificate carefully

The certificate has a verification code or QR link. A person opening it must enter an email address and may need to pay the displayed public-verification fee. Share the PDF/link only with people who are authorised to see it, because it contains personal education information.

10

Use history and notifications

Use Payment History for payments/invoices, Transactions for wallet changes, and Notifications for request and credit updates. Recent activity and searches without a successful verification are normally kept for only five days, so download important authorised documents promptly.

Important reminders

  • Search only when your company has a lawful and authorised reason.
  • Check spelling and identity details carefully before relying on a result.
  • Do not treat a No Result or Not Found Certificate as automatic proof of fraud.
  • Do not share passwords, recovery codes or unnecessary student information.
  • Changing your profile email does not move you to another company wallet; ask an administrator for help.
